The body of this car is in very good shape. Judging by the nose, the original welding points front and rear this car is also believed to be accident free. A chassis inspection underneath confirms this.

The car has been recently repainted (2007) in the original Grand Prix White. Given that it has only done about 3000km since, it has practically no paint chips or scratches. The bodywork is very smooth without any knocks or dents.

The door shut on both sides is crisp and the alignment excellent. Overall panel fit is excellent. Glass in very good shape.

The interior is in 100% original and complete. The car is equipped with factory airco, the rare factory tempostat (cruise control), electric windows and electric mirrors. All dials and switches are fully functional, except for the mileage counter which has stopped working. The car has recently received a new soft top and new floor carpets.

The interior of the car has some sun damage. The leather cover of the dashboard have dried out and shrunk from heat. Similarly, the driver seat cover has a tear along the seam. These items can de restored by us if required or drive the car AS IS.

The car has the original matching numbers 3.0L engine. The documentation with the car confirms the car was maintained without compromise. In 2001 the engine and gearbox were rebuilt for a total of $7200. Since then the car has received hydraulic chain tensionners, new heat exchangers and a new clutch. The engine is very strong and responsive.

The odometer reads 135,000km. The mileage is consistent with the CARFAX, maintenance records and the way the car drives.

The car has the original matching numbers 915 type gearbox. These boxes are a bit ‘notchy' by design but this one is much better than most thanks to a rebuilt in 2001 including a new clutch.  Synchromesh on 2nd gear (a typical weakness) works well.

The steering column bearing is worn. Other than this, the steering and suspension are in good working condition; shock absorbers, tire balancing, tracking and geometry are in order. The car received new tires and new brakes. The car generally drives very well.

The car was originally sold and registered in New York where it spent most of its lfe. The car has had 3 owners. The last owner  - a lady  - had the car since 2006 and has practically not used it. We have imported the car in 2008. It is currently registered in Belgium.

The car comes with a documentation file evidencing work done on car. It has the original owners manual.
