Description
Pair of door caps (slim version) for Porsche 911 SWB models, 1965-1968 in black. This is NOT a retrim kit but a pair of complete ready-to-install door top cover caps, remanufactured to OEM specifications.
Due to sun exposure many ’65-’68 door caps are faded. We also find that the metal frames are often deformed and rusted through. Door caps in this state are beyond restoration.
The tool to mould and cast these parts was developed using 3-D scanning on a NOS door cap. The body of these mouldings are made from heat-resistant ABS. Texture, grain and gloss of the vynil surface coat have been optimised to match our dashboard and knee protectors to ensure perfect homogeneity. We guarantee a factory authentic appearance and fit.
Installation is straight forward and requires no specific tools.
