Springbox for Comfort Seat Porsche 911 ’65-’73

Complete springbox for all Porsche 911 and 912 models from 1965-1973 with standard seats. Fits both left and right side.

The seat base of your Porsche 911 ’66-73 is of the spingbox type. Extensive use and age will cause the coils to loose resistance and break. This reduces the support of the seat and will overstretch your seat covers causing them to tear and crack.

When replacing your front seat covers we recommend to inspect your springbox. If the frame or coils are rusted through it needs to be replaced. A new springbox will provide better ride comfort and increase the life of your new seat covers.

When replacing your springbox we recommend to also replace the horsehair padding and correction filling on top (not included).
