Restored Targa top latch (catch/lock) for Porsche 911 Targa models 1967-1985 and Cabriolet models 1983-1985.  Matches Porsche part number 911.565.031.41

Targa top locks often fail because the rotary pin breaks, the safety hook blocks or the hooks are out of alignment. If you have a broken Targa top latch, you can send it to us for restoration.

If your Targa top latch is beyond restoration or you are missing one, we can also offer a restored Targa top catch without core exchange.

Our restoration includes:

1. Cleaning the latch
2. Grinding off the cover plate (5 point welds)
3. Replacement of the rotary pin and clip
4. Replacement of the safety hook spring, circlip and bolts
5. Verification rotary hook and safety hook
6. Greasing of the latch
7. Welding cover plate back in position
8. Galvanization of the lock
