The 914 center console originally came as an option on the 1973 and later 914 models. This center console was usually sold as part of the “Appearance Group” Package which included various other trim items and chrome bumpers. The console has pre-cut openings for the three VDO gauges installed in the center: a clock, an engine oil temperature gauge and a voltmeter (not included).
Our 914 center console is among the best available for originality and fit. We match Stuttgart factory specifications step by step; from the finest Scottish hides, colour coded vinyl, vibration deadening foam and water-resistant backing board. All panels are precision cut, stitched and pressure glued to guarantee a factory authentic fit.
The center console comes with step-by-step installation instructions and pictures. The installation of the center console on 1973 and later cars is relatively easy, because the wiring harness already exists for plugging it in. On the earlier cars, you will need to tap in to the wiring harness. For a first installation, make sure to include the mounting brackets in your order.
Because of fading of the original material and colour differences between dye lots, we offer the center console in Black only. For complete interior kits we can offer most original Porsche colors (please enquire).
